Forschung

Mit der Forschung in den Psychiatrischen Diensten Thurgau, deren Kernaufgabe die psychiatrische Regelversorgung für die Bevölkerung des Kantons Thurgau darstellt, verfolgen wir drei primäre Ziele:

• Evaluation und Begleitforschung der Patientenversorgung
• Ermöglichung akademischer Wege für die Mitarbeitenden
• Wissenschaftliche Anbindung an umliegende Universitäten im In- und Ausland

Neue Behandlungen und diagnostische Verfahren werden dabei sowohl in störungsspezifischen als auch in störungsübergreifenden Schwerpunktbereichen untersucht.

Um die oben genannten Ziele systematisch und nachhaltig zu verfolgen, wurde innerhalb der Psychiatrischen Diensten Thurgau die Stelle eines Forschungspsychologen geschaffen, welche seit 1.9.2020 Dr. rer. nat. Patrick Fissler innehat.

Die Leistungen des Forschungspsychologen umfassen u.a.:

• Verfassen von Ethikanträgen
• Konzeption von Studiendesigns
• Unterstützung in der Studiendurchführung
• Statistische Datenanalyse
• Verfassen von Manuskripten für wissenschaftliche Fachzeitschriften
• Betreuung von Qualifikationsarbeiten (Dissertationen, Master- und Bachelorarbeiten)
• Beratung des akademischen Personals bei Forschungsvorhaben
• Vernetzung mit umliegenden Universitäten
• Verfassen von Forschungsanträgen (Drittmittelanträge)
